| In order to even more improves the municipal traffic network, Hong Kong government spent huge resources on the west railway project has been starting construction! "West Railway" phase one from Shum Shui Po to Tuen Mun has been finished in 2003. It becomes Hong Kong New Territory area transportation aorta. West Railway project CCTV surveillance system includes pair of association (2) control center, 9 stations, 1 cart yard, 1 service center, altogether 11 stations, 27 km long. The project altogether uses 800 cameras, of which 300 pieces with focus variation and with PTZ. It adopts fiber optic transmission for the entire lane. Uses British COE V-class multi-channel fiber optic transmission equipment, the matrix controller uses British COE TELECOMMAND. Tung Po Company and British COE Corporation joined together for the West Railway issue of CCTV surveillance system project, and the ontractor is undertaken by Germany Siemens Company. The project construction cost is 30 million Hong Kong dollars. Later will carry on the West Railway phase two (to extend north to Lok Ma Chow and south to Tsimshatsui and the Ma On Shan branch). |
